Why Do We Travel?

Is it relaxation and getting away from it all? Perhaps Education and culture is what you crave. Maybe a bit of adventure? Join me in discussions as we wait and anticipate traveling again soon and safely. What are you thinking about? I thought I would share whats been on my mind lately. I want to say for months, but the truth is, its really been for years.
The picture below is just a random picture, do you know where it is? Its someplace I've always wanted to go but still haven't been. Why is that? Seems like it has been put on the back burner, over and over, but not any more! Its Dublin ,Ireland and hopefully COVID willing I will be able to check this one off of my bucket list come the end of September later this year. Its kind of funny, as I am putting together this trip and researching all things Ireland I have the strong feeling I will be traveling back more than once. How is that? I haven't even gotten there yet! I didn't feel that when I went to other destinations, how is that?
Such questions! To be honest, this isn't even the picture of Ireland I would of liked to put here, but until I learn more about how to blog and use all the technical advancements at my fingertips for the moment this was all I could figure out how to post! The Ring of Kerry, Cliffs of Moher, Breathtaking Castles, Seaport Towns, The Blarney Stone, just to name a few of the pictures I would of liked to post. I am doing ancestry research, shopping research, and just so excited to finally get out there and be in the world again. I even went and bought a sweater, vest , a hat for the hubby and a pair of earrings (shamrocks of course) from Blarney Woollen Mills to get ready! But isnt that the part of traveling that is the most fun? The anticipation, the wondering, oh the goose bumps! By the way, the Blarney Woollen Mills not only met expectations but far exceeded them. What have you been thinking about? Perhaps a beach and getting listen to the crash of the waves? I know I sure do miss either being on a boat or fishing off the back of one! Where haven't you been thats been on your heart? Would you like to go to Ireland too? If so, let me know as I would love to have others come on this trip and its always more fun to travel with people you know. Hopefully your all doing well and staying safe. Please share with me, would love to hear everyones thoughts on where you see yourselves going. I myself plan on doing some trips close to home as well. We have such a beautiful country with so many sights to see.
